Don't you want
an elegant
portrait of you or your loved ones which will capture a
beautiful moment to cherish forever?
Do you want your
portrait to capture your true self in your own familiar surroundings?
Do you want a
photographer who will really listen to you and what it is you truly
want to portray?
If you
answered yes to any of the questions above, then you have come to the
right
place!
Today, anyone can take a good
photograph,
but it takes an artist to get the kind of
portrait that
you will cherish forever - a professional, meaningful portrait of you,
your child, your infant, or your family.
My
name is Inge
and I am an award winning artist who had started out in the field of
fine art many years ago. I have transitioned from painting
and
sculpture into photography as my favorite artistic medium. I
do
not take the typical portrait in unfamiliar surroundings
against a painted background or velvet drapes.
I
take my camera and portable lighting equipment to your own home or
favorite indoor or outdoor location. Being a perfectionist
when
it comes to photography, I will spend the time to capture
the
essence of the subject's personality. Afterwards I may
decide
to enhance the finished portrait to give it a special mood or look
according to your preference.
I
spend the time with my clients until I am satisfied that I have the
perfect result. I love people and one of the perks of my job
is
that I get to know people I would ordinarily not get a chance to meet.
And being a grandmother of two small boys I especially love children.
They get to know me and get to like me too. "Because I take a personal
pride in my craft, there is never a charge of any kind if you
are not happy with any of the proofs from our photo session."

"My
four year old is a bit shy but Inge spent time getting to
know him until he felt comfortable. He was fascinated with
the
ornamental frog on the garden pond and when he began exploring, Inge
started working her magic. We got many beautiful photos of my
son
so it was difficult to choose the best. We got several prints
but
finally decided to get a large canvas print of this one which is
proudly displayed in our living room. No matter how quickly my
child grows, this portrait will stay on my wall
forever. Inge
is great with kids and the result exceeded our expectations!" - K. Hill

I love
children and love to create beautiful images of them especially
when I can capture their inner beauty. Looking through the
eyes
of a baby or child, one can see the miracle of purity and innocence.
To them, the whole world is a magical place filled with
wondrous
things. To be able to capture the wonders of the world in
their
eyes is a challenge and a great privilege.
In the photograph on the left, I was able to capture the fascination
and deep thought of this little boy contemplating the frog.
What
was going through his mind? No doubt his imagination was
working
to make sense of this experience in a way most of us have forgotten.
Once we decided on this particular photograph, I did some
post-photography workflow to create some lighting magic, highlighting
some areas while shading others. The result, especially on
canvas, was in creating an image which is reminiscent of a painting in
oils.

"I
was so
impressed with how easy it was to work with Inge in my own home and to
get such beautiful results that made choosing a centerpiece portrait of
all of us a challenge. All of her photographs were amazing.
Even the dog looks great! Inge knew just how to
make us
feel relaxed and every one of us loved the way we look even though some
of us have never felt very photogenic."

Families
can be
challenging because each person needs to look good all at the
same
time! We usually take quite a few photographs. My
goal is
to make sure that everyone is relaxed This is a great
example of
why coming to a client's home for a photo session is so important.
Can you imagine the dog being so calm and cooperative in
strange
surroundings?
Before
our photo session, I visit with my clients to find out what
their concerns are, if they have a style or a look they want to
achieve, or to make suggestions based on their personal life styles and
tastes. Once I see their space or wherever it is they want
their
portrait taken, it becomes much less of a challenge to find a style of
photography that will suit a particular family. People may
prefer
high-key or low key photography ( I can explain that during our
consultation), dramatic or less dramatic lighting, black and white or
color photography. I can also help them decide on
the best
use of clothing for their photo session.

"I was a bit nervous wanting a
very personal kind of portrait.
I
knew I wanted a photographer to do a boudoir style portrait
but
was not quite sure what I really wanted as an end result. Inge spent
time with me and showed me samples of different types of work .
After the initial consultation, I became very comfortable
with
her, knowing I would be in different states of undress as I had wanted
to be. We got lots of different photos, some close-ups and
some
more like this fanciful artsy photograph which I thought
would
look great in my bedroom. I am an actress and I love fine art
so
this was a perfect addition to my collection of paintings and
photographs in my home." -K. Swann

We can create many different looks within the scope of boudoir
photography. This portrait tends to be edgy and fanciful.
Styles can be sexy or romantic, with or without garments.
A
fully dressed figure can also exude romance,
flirtatiousness or elegance. As your photographer, I
will
work with you until you feel comfortable and relaxed while bringing out
the look and mood of what you wish to portray.
Boudoir photograpy is simply a more personal style of photography.
It is for both men and women, young or old. At our
initial
consultation, I will be able to help you identify the style which will
be most flattering to your personality and characteristics. |
